The U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and the American-Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) are hosting the U.S. - Malaysia Clean Tech Forum on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in Kuching, Sarawak.
Building on the success of the first U.S.-Malaysia Clean Tech Forum held in Kuala Lumpur in 2023, this year's forum will focus on Sarawak. Sarawak's strategic development of its natural resources and progressive approach to embracing emerging technologies such as carbon capture and storage (CCS) and green hydrogen uniquely positions the state as central to Malaysia's and the region's energy transition.
This Forum will be a platform for bringing together crucial U.S. and Malaysian government and private sector stakeholders to discuss shared pathways to a clean economy in keeping with the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) Pillar III guidelines. With a regional focus on Sarawak, these discussions will center on best practices in CCS and green hydrogen and feature experts from both countries.
