Steam in place (SIP) technology is the typical approach for sterilizing equipment in place for pharmaceutical manufacturing. This case study reviews issues with steaming equipment to maintain sterility.
The root cause, tools, approach and resolution will be discussed for both the CIP and SIP case studies.
