He said the National Security Council’s decision is fair to all, as all Malaysians are also not allowed to go overseas, except for those who need to further their studies. |

| The Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and the Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) with Singapore will test the feasibility of a full reopening of the shared border amid the COVID-19 pandemic, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein. He told reporters in the Parliament building today that the success of the first two steps, which he dubbed as Categories One and Two, would make it easier to negotiate for the next two steps. |

Meeting with East Coast Economic Region Development Council |
| On 14 July, 2020, AMCHAM had a meeting with the team from East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) lead by Saifol Bahri Shamlan, General Manager. The discussions were mainly on the current business and investment landscape and how to excel amidst the challenges up ahead. Overall, it was a productive and fruitful discussion and possibly a first that will lead to further developments. |
