To celebrate America’s 241st Independence Day, the American Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), in collaboration with our partners, First Solar, Jabil, Hotel Equatorial Penang, Plexus, Venessa Diamonds and Smart Modular Technologies will again celebrate this special occasion on July 12, 2017 at the Hotel Equatorial Penang with the presence of H.E. the U.S. Ambassador Kamala Lakhdhir and the Penang Chief Minister, the Right Honorable Lim Guan Eng.
This event is fully supported by the U.S. Embassy in demonstrating the growing strength of the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and the United States and to support a worthy cause which would benefit less fortunate children. Last year, a sum of RM178,200 was raised and channelled to Dreamz Foundation, Tech Dome Penang, and the AMCHAM Scholarship Fund. For this year, we have identified charity organisations for the event, namely School For Mentally Retarded Children Dato Keramat, Penang Ru Yi Home Association, and more to be identified.
We would, therefore, like to take this opportunity to appeal for your kind support for this Gala Dinner in celebration of U.S Independence Day and also fundraising for charity causes by taking up one of the sponsorship packages which we have available.
