ON Semiconductor’s Vice President of Government & External Affairs and Assistant Compliance and Ethics Officer, Mr Daryl Hatano, who is visiting the region, will speak to AMCHAM's Government Relations Working group on Friday, June 3rd at the AMCHAM's Executive Offices.

Please join us at 2:45 PM for his insights into public policy’s impact on the global semiconductor industry. After providing an overview of the semiconductdor industry, Mr. Hatano will discuss public policies including:
  • Intellectual Property protection and government research and education programs to promote innovation;
  • Semiconductor industry efforts to protect the environment and promote workplace health and safety;
  • Automotive, consumer electronic, and other end product government policies that promote or delay the benefits of semiconductor technology;
  • Trade, tariffs, and the TPP;

Due the time constraints on Mr. Hatano schedule, please note that this program will start and end on time. The program is complimentary for members.

    Daryl Hatano is the Vice President of Government and External Affairs at ON Semiconductor where he follows global government policies that promote energy efficiency, protection of intellectual property, and lower barriers to international trade. Prior his position at ON Semiconductor, Mr. Hatano was the Vice President of Public Policy for the Semiconductor Industry Association, with responsibilities for the association’s international trade, legislative and workforce strategy programs. Mr. Hatano has an undergraduate degree in political science and economics from the University of California at Davis, a Juris Doctorate from the U.C. Davis Law School and a Masters in Business Administration from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business Administration. He is a member of the California Bar and has served on a number of advisory boards and panels.
