Dear Members,

We have an amazing guest dropping by to help us kick-start MY AMCHAM CARES 2018. Jennifer Gilhool, Senior Director, Compliance and Ethics at ON Semiconductor will be at the AMCHAM office to give an informal talk and discussion on "Connecting the Pieces: CSR, Diversity & Inclusion, Compliance & Ethics".

The session will touch on the responsibility businesses have – as corporate citizens – to their stakeholders, which include the communities they work in, their employees, suppliers, shareholders, under-represented populations and so on.

Her talk will be on Tuesday, 26 June 2018, from 2:45 to 4:00 p.m. (Registration starts at 2:30p.m.) This event is complimentary, so please register early as seats are limited. Due to limited seats, only 2 representatives per company is allowed. (If you have more than 3 representatives that is interested to attend, please email us the names and we will KIV until closer to the date and if there are extra seats, we will notify you).

Jennifer T. Gilhool
Senior Director, Compliance and Ethics of ON Semiconductor
Jennifer Gilhool is the senior director, compliance and ethics for ON Semiconductor. Prior to joining ON Semiconductor, Jennifer was the founder and chief executive officer of Gender Economics Lab, a consulting practice focused on helping create identity-safe cultures. Jennifer is also the founder of Pink Streak Ink, which published and promoted her book, “Sheryl Sandberg, China & Me”. Jennifer was included in the Women of the Year Circle by the National Association of Professional Women in 2015 and 2016. She has been a frequent writer and speaker on several topics, including sustainability, diversity, women in leadership and unconscious bias.
Jennifer began her legal career as a lawyer with Jenner & Block in Chicago. Early in her career, she joined the in-house legal team at Ford Motor Company where she held a series of increasingly demanding legal and business positions. Over her nearly 15 year career with Ford, Jennifer served as a litigator and a regulatory and compliance attorney in the office of the general counsel as chief of staff and global process manager in the sustainability and regulatory affairs function. Jennifer’s last role at Ford was as the first director for sustainability and regulatory affairs for Asia Pacific and Africa. In this role, she was based in Shanghai, China and was the senior-most leader for the sustainability and regulatory affairs function in the region. Jennifer was the only woman in the region leading a revenue-promoting function.
