Event Details

With the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) for Solar PV coming to an end, the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia, together with Malaysia Energy Commission, has rolled out the net energy metering (NEM) scheme for the corporate sector, an incentive by the government to promote the growth of renewable energy (RE) in the country. Companies in Malaysia not only can now self- generate renewable energy from onsite solar PV systems but NEM allows them to sell the potential excess energy back to the grid. This means corporate consumers can contribute to clean energy production and at the same time reduce their cost base, solar PV being today significantly cheaper than grid energy in Malaysia.

AMCHAM invites you to join the breakfast briefing session on Tuesday, Sep 18 from 9.00am - 11.00am at the AMCHAM Executive Office with Cleantech Solar as they share case studies of companies like Coca-Cola, Kellogg, Cognizant and Becton Dickinson adopting solar-as-a-service in Malaysia as well as in the wider Asia region and find out how the new Malaysia framework can benefit your operations.

This program is recommended for Head of Operations, Facilities, Energy Procurement, Sustainability and Senior Leadership in the company to find out how the new Malaysia framework and adopting solar-as-a-service at no upfront capital can benefit an existing business operation in the Food & Beverage, Dairy, Pharma, Biotech and General Manufacturing industry.

Seats are complimentary and available to the first 20 registrations received. For more information, please contact Ms Elyna Ngu at elyna@amcham.com.my
