It's 2020 and we are 10 years away from achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development making this decade the Decade of Delivery!


AMCHAM is pleased to invite you to an exclusive luncheon with Ms. Neha Das, Senior Manager, Global Operations, Asia Oceana from the UN Global Compact.


It is imperative that we all take active and positive steps to get closer to achieving the targets in each of our selected Sustainable Development Goals. This is a year of action and Neha will be able to help us frame what needs to be done and how we can start today by sharing the UN Global Compact's frameworks, methodologies and tools that are part of the global knowledge resources pool that can be deployed by the private sector to advance their sustainability and SDG agenda.

UNGC is a self-funded organization focusing on providing frameworks and tools to support its member companies to contribute towards the Sustainable Development Goals (or SDGs). Not only that, they serve as a platform to provide access to partnerships with a range of stakeholders.

Neha will also provide insights into 2020 programs at global and local level that private sector can participate in and gain required understanding and tools for their sustainability plans.


This is an opportunity for AMCHAM members to learn more about the UNGC, its initiatives and how it operates, as well as providing a platform for our members to share their thoughts and achievements on their CSR agenda.

    Neha Das

    Senior Manager, Global Operations, Asia & Oceania at United Nations Global Compact

    Neha Das is currently managing UN Global Compact’s Local Networks in the Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, she works closely with the Local Networks and private sector in the region to advance the achievement of the SDGs and build a case for corporate sustainability. Previously, she also managed the anti-corruption work-stream of the UN Global Compact for several years where she implemented anti-corruption projects in Brazil, Egypt, India, South Africa and Kenya, and developed various tools and resources.
    Prior to joining the UN Global Compact, Neha practiced law for several years in India advising on corporate and compliance issues, human rights due diligence, anti-corruption laws and corporate social responsibility regulations. In 2009, she advised the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India on its draft Foreign Direct Investment Policy.
    Neha holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Harvard Law School, with special focus on global governance and international trade law. She holds a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) degree from National Law Institute University, India. She is a dual-qualified attorney admitted to practice law in India and the State of New York, USA. She is a member of Transparency International’s Business Principles Steering Committee.
