Dr. Marcella Lucas is an innovation strategist who brings a global perspective to solving problems through innovative methods and solutions. Trained and certified as a Blue Ocean Strategy practioner, Marcella was recruited to Malaysia in 2014 to deliver on strategic initiatives to support the National Transformation efforts of the Malaysian government.

Marcella has co-created and delivered numerous trainings, workshops and conferences in the leadership and innovation space encompassing topics such as Blue Ocean Strategy, inclusion & diversity and self-aware leadership.

Marcella was previously the CEO of LeadWomen, a Malaysian grown enterprise which focuses on getting more women onto Board of Directors and into C-suite positions. Through her work at LeadWomen, Dr Marcella re-innovated how to position women’s leadership as a core strategic imperative for good, sustainable business performance. Under Marcella ́s leadership, LeadWomen grew from a training provider to a One-Stop-Solution consultancy for high calibre candidates looking for board opportunities and for boards looking for the right talent to meet their business needs.

She regularly speaks at conferences and sits on the Steering Committee and is the Research Lead of the 30% Club Malaysia. She is a founding member of the Leadership Team and Lead for Workstream 3 (Supporting Women in Leadership) in Malaysia Women in Energy (MyWIE). She is an Associate Faculty at the Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB),
Universiti Utara Malaysia and Associate Fellow at the Institute for Leadership Innovation and Change (Lead4Change) at Universiti Utara Malaysia. Marcella serves as an external advisor at the Graduate School of Business at UKM (National University Malaysia). Marcella also serves as a member of the Merdeka Award Nomination Committee.

Marcella obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College, USA and BSc Biochemistry from the University of Bath, UK and is originally from the Netherlands.

Michele has 25 years of leadership and management experience. Having headed various departments in organisations such as the Asia School of Business, the Iclif Leadership and Governance Centre, UBS, HSBC, and CIMB, Michele has developed expertise in a wide variety of areas such as leadership, change management, human capital development, culture, DEI and more.

Tisha's professional experience spans 20+ years in the upstream oil and gas industry having started as a process engineer in projects and subsequently moved to leading teams in maintenance, operations and business improvement. She is now the GM, Strategy for the Malaysian Business Unit (MBU). Tisha has developed a rich and diverse mix of knowledge and experience of the various facets in upstream oil and gas, having designed, maintained and operated the facilities, as well as involvement in the corporate aspects with business planning and stakeholder management. She was integral in the inaugural DEI committee in the MBU and spearheaded its initiatives for awareness, with the ultimate aim of an embedded DEI culture.
