Join AMCHAM for a fantastic chance to upgrade your communication skills with Angela Cheung, ex-Disney executive. With content growing more and more important, communicating, indeed storytelling, is becoming a much-needed skill.

As there is a storyteller in each of us, join us on Thursday, 31 October 2019 (yes, Halloween) for a not-to-be missed program.

This will be a full-day Masterclass. Registration begins at 9:30 am and the program will run until 5:00 pm at AMCHAM. Lunch and snacks will be served throughout the day.

There will be opportunities to practice and receive individual feedback and coaching. It will be both useful and fun!

Angela Cheung is Managing Director at APV, one of Asia's most established creative agencies. Her role encompasses video production, scriptwriting, digital video strategy, video marketing and branding for clients such as Morgan Stanley, Cathay Pacific, Alibaba, FedEx, BBC, HSBC, Prudential, Manulife, Mediacorp and more. She’s taught and spoken at prestigious institutions such as Georgetown University, Northwestern University, Hong Kong University, The Royal Institute for Strategic Studies in Bhutan, University of Singapore.

Angela was formerly Regional Director of Broadcast Marketing at Hong Kong Disneyland. She set up this department to broaden Hong Kong Disneyland's appeal to young adults and families throughout Asia through the use of original content. Her key projects increased opinion and interest in the theme park by 12% within a year of launch, and significantly raised regard for Disney's core brand equities.

Prior to that, she worked as Regional Director of Production at Walt Disney Television Asia Pacific where she was responsible for Disney’s original content and production strategy in the region. This was Walt Disney Television's biggest growth period in Asia with the launch of 11 Disney channels.

Angela was also Head of Production for Fremantle Asia which produces format television from gameshows (The Price Is Right, Family Feud, The Pyramid Game) to dramas (Baywatch) and general entertainment programs (cooking programs, talent shows).
