The world is navigating uncharted waters and this year, most countries will experience a depressed economy, unseen since the 1920s. Given what is happening, global multinational companies still need to grow, to increase profitability and shareholder value, and ultimately help to boost global economies.

This session starts with an overview of current regional trends in FDI. It then dives into what Malaysia is actively engaged in, and what needs to be done in the near future, to maintain its attractiveness as a destination of choice for Foreign Direct Investments (FDI). Now is the time more than ever to reconfigure, if needed, the growth potential of Malaysia. Taking into account the backdrop of shifts and trade tensions, the reconfiguration of global supply chains, and with the global pandemic still looming large. Our expert speakers and panelists will provide their insights and anecdotes as to why Malaysia has the potential to be a regional, as well as a global hub for multinational companies.

Mr. Ernesto Pittaluga, Corporate and Public Sector, Sales & Marketing Regional Head, Asia Pacific, Treasury and Trade Solutions at Citi, will be providing an overview of current trends and flows of FDI in the region. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Muhammad Azmi Zulkifli, Chief Executive Officer, InvestKL; Fitri Abdullah, Managing Director, OracleMalaysia; Abdul Rahman Abu Haniffa, Director of Government Affairs and Policy, GE Malaysia.

Join us for this exciting discussion to see where the potential lies in Malaysia and what can be achieved in the near future to elevate Malaysia's status as a destination for FDI.
