Join us for our next MP Chat Series with YB Dr. Maszlee Malik, Member of Parliament for Simpang Rengan.

This is an opportunity for AMCHAM members to hear from him directly about the current talent pool development and talent readiness in the country, as well as his thoughts on the country's roadmap to economic recovery.

This MP Chat Series with AMCHAM aims to serve as a platform for an informal and candid conversation between invited Members of Parliament and AMCHAM members from various business sectors in Malaysia, where they can share their experiences of growing their business in the country and how Malaysia plays a strategic role in their business.

Subject to further updates on current SOPs with regards to events/meetings - this will be a virtual session for Registered Members of AMCHAM.

  • Dr Maszlee Malik (Member of Parliament for Simpang Renggam)

    Dr Maszlee Malik

    Member of Parliament for Simpang Renggam

    Dr Maszlee Malik is the Member of Parliament for Simpang Renggam (since May 2018). He was formerly the Minister of Education for Malaysia.

    During his service at Simpang Renggam constituency, he established a Simpang Renggam Community College; upgraded the Government Agencies' Facilities; and resolved the issue of river pollution and ways to have clean water supply for the people of Simpang Renggam and the surrounding areas.

    He was formerly an Assistant Professor at International Islamic University Malaysia and holds a PhD of Philosophy from Durham University. He received Honorary Doctorates from the Shukutoku University (Japan) and Al Al-Bayt University (Jordan) for his contributions in increasing educational collaborations between Malaysia and both Japan and Jordan.
