Anne Abraham currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Media Prima Berhad and Metrod Holdings Berhad. She is also Chair for the Board of Media Prima Digital Sdn. Bhd., the digital subsidiary board of Media Prima Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Director of the NSTP Berhad, also a Media Prima Berhad subsidiary.

Anne plays a key role as Executive Co - Founder of the Malaysian Chapter of the 30% Club, a global business campaign lobbying for increased women representation on the boards of Malaysian PLCs. The campaign has taken off to receive greater support from corporate chairs and board directors of PLCs since it was launched by in May 2015.

Her current role as Chair of LeadWomen Sdn Bhd, an MSC status consultancy company which she founded in late 2011, is focused on developing and advancing women leaders in line with the Malaysian government’s aspirational target of 30% women on boards (www.lead-women.com). Anne is recognized as a thought leader in diversity and inclusion both locally and regionally. Anne is a frequent guest speaker, facilitator and moderator in Women leadership conferences, workshops and summits

Antony Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of AIG Malaysia. Antony, a Malaysian citizen, has been in the insurance sector for over 19 years. Prior to this appointment, he was the CEO of AIG Vietnam from 2011 where his responsibilities included the development of a key growth country for AIG within the Asia Pacific region. He began his career at AIG in 2001 as VP of Business Development with AIG’s Software International JV based in Malaysia.

Antony holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Diploma in Architecture from University College London and is also a graduate of AIG’s Executive Development Management program.

He was a board member of the Women’s Individual Squash Players’ Association (WISPA) from 2007 to 2012 and was actively involved in raising the profile of the game worldwide. In addition, he served as Vice President of the Squash Rackets Association of Malaysia from 2004-2006, as well as Chairman of the Squash Rackets Association of Federal Territory from 2005-2006. He led the Malaysian Squash Team to the Commonwealth Games in 2006. He was also part of the bid committee that successfully won the right for Malaysia to host the Commonwealth Games in 1998.

On the charitable front, he is a committee member of the Olympic Council of Malaysia Tan Sri Alex Lee Athletes’ Education Fund, and has been organizing annual charity events in aid of Malaysian athletes on an annual basis since 2002.

He is currently the Chairman of the General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM) as well as the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII). He is also a director of the Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS) and the Financial Services Professional Board (FSPB) and sits on the Board of Governors of the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM)
council.

Adding further to Antony’s impressive list of appointments, he is also a board member of the Ombudsman for Financial Services (OFS), the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) and the Financial Community Outreach Programme (FINCO). Being one of the founding members for AMCHAM, it is to no surprise that AIG Malaysia has had a long standing history with AMCHAM. AIG is also one of the largest foreign insurers for local employment with a total of 1,800 employees across four entities and has been actively sponsoring the Corporate Partnership Program.

Catherine Lian was named Managing Director IBM Malaysia in April 2019. In this role, she is responsible for the growth and leadership of IBM Malaysia’ operations, which includes sales and distribution and IBM’s fully-owned subsidiaries offering global delivery services – IBM Client Innovation Center.

As organizations reinvent themselves to outperform competition, Catherine will lead the Malaysia team to help clients, partners, and key stakeholders put smart to work in their organizations by applying IBM’s leading AI/cognitive solutions, cloud platform, and industry
capabilities to advance digital transformation.

An economics graduate from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Lian joins IBM from Dell Technologies where she has worked since 1998. She began her career as an account manager in Dell Penang and took on diverse management roles across ASEAN and South Asian markets
including Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indochina, Cambodia and grew market share in the developing markets by 40% YoY. She was most recently the managing director at Dell Indonesia.

At Dell, Lian was consistently recognized for overachieving business targets and was a recipient of the prestigious Dell’s Chairman Club award in 2018. An active advocate for women in leadership, Lian was part of Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network that supported women business owners by providing access to technology, capital, resources and networking.

Lian continues to mentor aspiring talent in and outside the IT industry with the belief that by leading the way, aspirants are empowered to create thriving and sustainable global communities.

Dave Mitchell is Vice President and General Manager of Manufacturing and Distribution for Boston Scientific’s Penang Operations. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing facility in Penang.

Dave joined Boston Scientific in 2002, and has held various international roles within Boston Scientific Operations, including assignments in the United States, Ireland, and Costa Rica. He has been responsible for IT/factory automation, product technology transfers, plant scale-up, program management, and global operations strategy.

Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Dave worked for the Ford Motor Company, where he spent 7 years in manufacturing, powertrain design, and vehicle strategy. Dave also worked at Accenture doing strategy consulting in the consumer products industry. Dave holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Dave relocated to Penang from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, along with his wife Kristine, his daughter Nicole, and his son Kyle.

Ang Weina is a Partner at Deloitte Malaysia’s tax practice. She leads the Global Employer Services (GES) Division and has 30 years of experience with Deloitte in Singapore, Japan and Malaysia dealing with employment taxes, mobility policies, immigration compliance, equity compensation, remuneration planning and employer’s payroll compliance. She is featured regularly in local media and publications and has presented at local and overseas forums and symposiums. Her lab sessions include issues on Future of Mobility and facilitates how employers need to be ready with the industry evolution to enrich the employee’s experience. She is a Partner Faculty trainer at Deloitte University Asia Pacific.

Weina graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She is a CA (Singapore), CA (MIA), CPA (Australia), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. She is also a licensed tax agent and HRDF approved trainer.

Weina is a member of the Advisory Board of the School of Business in Monash University (Malaysia Campus) and is also appointed by the Board of Directors of CPA Australia (HQ) to the Professional Qualifications Advisory Committee (PQAC). She is also a LeadWomen Mentor under the LeadWomen national programme to bringing up more women leaders.
