Siva holds the position of Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO), where he plays a pivotal role
in supporting the Group CEO on strategic matters related to talent management. As a
visionary leader, Siva has spearheaded mynext, the first inaugural platform that specifically
addresses the needs of Malaysian students in tertiary education and TVET. This comprehensive
platform offers arrange of innovative tools, including full psychometric assessment tools and
career profiling. He was also responsible for setting up the Malaysia Expatriate Services Centre
(MYXpats), which is a collaboration between TalentCorp and the Immigration Department of
Malaysia and overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Siva is currently working on a cutting-edge project known as Future Skills Talent Council
(FSTC), which covers ten (10) sectors and focuses on mapping more accurate and timely
interventions for the demand and supply of talent. This endeavour is entirely driven by
industry needs and receives the support of government machinery. His efforts in this area are
poised to further enhance Malaysia’s competitiveness and resilience in the global talent
market.

Beyond her corporate role, she serves as the Executive in Residence at INSEAD, where she conducts research on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for digital transformation and promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

With a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology and an MBA from Indiana University, Bloomington, Dr. Farouk focuses on creating superior organizational performance through effective talent management and leadership development. Her impact reverberates across the digital landscape, making her a trailblazer in the financial industry.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in multinational organizations, Shankar is a global HR leader who specializes in startup and transformation projects. He is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at Lumileds, a leading provider of LED solutions, where he drives global talent growth, transformation, and change management across LED operations and worldwide R&D. He is also a Prosci®️ certified change practitioner who applies proven methodologies and best practices to deliver successful outcomes.

Shankar has a track record of creating value for the organizations he leads, through powerful employee experience, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. He has led several startup and shared services operations in Malaysia, such as Clarivate , IHS Markit, Dell and Western Digital, where he achieved significant growth, recognition, and efficiency for the sites. He has also fostered great working relationships with leaders and colleagues across APAC, US, and EMEA, demonstrating multicultural and inclusive leadership. He has led human resources at a global level for the last 20 years. At Maxis, Malaysia’s largest telecom, he was instrumental in its transformation from a traditional Telco to a digital enabler by leading several people & organisational transformation initiatives while being part of the HR leadership team.
