    Paul Fong

Country Director, Singapore & Malaysia of Dow Chemical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd

Paul joins Dow in 1994 in the Finance function and has been seconded to joint ventures in Asia Pacific under his financial roles before assuming his current role in June 2017.

Two things that Paul is most passionate about are sustainability and inclusion. As a Board member of the Chemical Industry Councils in Malaysia and Singapore, and an active member of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC)’s Circular
Economy Committee, he helped drive the sustainability and workforce I&D agenda.

Paul is also a member in the Singapore Technical Committees for Surface Coatings and Circularity of Materials Standards. Asia’s first recycled shoes jogging track completed in 2020 with Sport Singapore is an example of his contribution towards a more sustainable and safer future using materials science innovation.
Just recently in June 2021, Paul played an instrumental role in implementing the shoe waste collection and recycling ecosystem in Singapore, enabling a sustainable upcycle of used sports and school shoes into sports infrastructure.
