| All types of screening, including the use of antigen rapid test kits (RTK) are capable of detecting positive cases following the emergence of a new COVID-19 variant, Omicron. RT-PCR and RTK are still capable of detecting Omicron, because all these screenings detect nucleocapsids, not nail proteins on the structure of the COVID-19 virus. |

| The government has yet to decide on whether to make COVID-19 booster shots a condition for individuals to be considered fully vaccinated. The Health Ministry was currently conducting a study based on the experience of other countries which had made booster shots a condition for complete vaccination. |

MITI advises users to read the FAQ’s before making plans, for instance, the VTL registration is currently for travels between 29 November to 5 December 2021 only. |

Both fields experienced nearly 60% more job searches by early October 2021 compared with 1 February last year. Over the same period, media and communications, and software-development job searches jumped by more than 48%. |
