| MITI in collaboration with Dagang Net Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (DNT) has developed ePCO system (both Cost Analysis and CO modules) to meet requirements under the CPTPP. The ePCO is a web-based CO application and approval system that certifies the country of origin of a particular product. The ePCO is intended solely to prove the origin of goods in order to satisfy Customs or trade requirements under the CPTPP.

| The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MITI) released its Malaysia External Trade Statistics for the period of January-September 2022 on Wednesday which cited the growth was the highest monthly value for the month of September.
The export growth was contributed mainly by robust external demand for electrical and electronic (E&E) products, petroleum products, liquefied natural gas (LNG), crude petroleum, optical and scientific equipment as well as machinery, equipment and parts. |
