The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) invites you to attend the 5th Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) in Tokyo, Japan on January 12, 2023. The sales tax on Low Value Goods (LVG) will be effective on 1 January 2023. However, imposition of sales tax on LVG will be starting from 1 April 2023.

LVG sellers with the total sale value of LVG brought into Malaysia in 12 months exceeds RM500,000, is liable to be registered as Registered Seller.

FedEx Express appointed Tien-Long Woon as the new Managing Director of FedEx Express Malaysia. He succeeds Siang-Chung Chong, who retired from FedEx after 19 years of distinguished service.

In his new role, Tien-Long will lead a team of nearly 900 team members in Malaysia. He will continue to oversee FedEx operations in Thailand until his successor is announced.
