Once again, we find ourselves facing a brand new government, albeit in extraordinary circumstances, and dealing with all the uncertainty that goes along with the changing of the guard. Meet Our New Government Affairs Specialist - Mira Ajib |
| Please welcome Mira Ajib who joins AMCHAM as our Government Affairs Specialist. She will support the delivery of the Chamber’s government relations strategy aiming to strengthen the Chamber’s ability to be the “voice" of American businesses operating in Malaysia.
Mira brings with her a wealth of experience tracking across the private, social and public sectors. Her background is in law beginning her career in the Malaysian courts. Mira however, is passionate about strengthening government institutions and she moved onto activist work to promote the principles of good governance, accountability, and transparency. Immediately prior to her new role at AMCHAM, Mira was in the civil service as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
