|Requirements For International Travellers Entering Into Malaysia|
Starting on June 1st 2020, all international travellers to Malaysia are required to sign a Letter of Undertaking & Indemnity (LoU). This is part of an effort to curb the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. All individuals entering Malaysia from abroad will be subjected to compulsory quarantine orders at the Quarantine Stations set by the Government of Malaysia.
The worldwide coronavirus pandemic has disrupted life in just about every sense of the word, from personal health concerns and social distancing to shelter-in-place mandates and business closures. But in the corporate world, life plods on. Critical concerns about ongoing sales and revenue, keeping personnel employed, safety issues inside the workplace, and uncertainty about the future are making business leaders lose a lot of sleep these days.
AMCHAM is one of the most active Chambers in the region. We are a small team and we do unique work on behalf of our members and work closely with a number of stakeholders including the Government.
AMCHAM is looking for support in these areas:

- Content and Web-focused design skills (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- Social Media Experts & Storytellers / Video-storytellers
Being a member of AMCHAM has never been so important as it has been over the past two months. As authorities were shaping policies and issuing guidelines they relied on AMCHAM, your Chamber to help. The AMCHAM membership and the use of this Directory is a tool to showcase who we are as a community. I hope that you will join us this year to assist us in building this Directory as a ‘bible’ to the American business on the ground in Malaysia.

Even before Covid-19 sent an unprecedented number of people to work from home, employers were ramping up their efforts to monitor employee productivity. A 2018 Gartner report revealed that of 239 large corporations, 50% were monitoring the content of employee emails and social media accounts, along with who they met with and how they utilized their workspaces.
