Bill on temporary measures to reduce COVID-19 impact tabled for first reading
The bill on temporary measures to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was tabled for first reading in the Dewan Rakyat today. The Temporary Measures for Reducing The Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Bill 2020 seeks to support the Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package, Prihatin SME Economic Stimulus Package and the Short-term Economic Recovery Plan announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on March 27, April 6 and June 5 respectively.
