Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is poised to enhance trade and investment within the bloc for its economic recovery post-COVID-19 pandemic. International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said APEC's commitment to the pursuit of free and open trade and investment would be more imperative amid the challenging time.

Two localities in Ipoh will be placed under an enhanced movement control order beginning Friday (Nov 20) following a spike in Covid-19 cases, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The localities are Zone B and Zone C in Taman Meru 2C in Ipoh.

Due to the recent announcement of the extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) throughout most of the country until 6 December, AMCHAM has decided to postpone our much-loved Thanksgiving Luncheon to accommodate the rules around larger groups.

The Thanksgiving Luncheon will now take place at Hilton Kuala Lumpur on 14 December, 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

We are hoping that come December we will all be able to safely celebrate together.
