In the face of all the news, rising numbers and new variants that COVID-19 is bringing to our world, we at AMCHAM think it is best that we postpone plans for our Thanksgiving - New Year’s Luncheon.
Therefore, this notice is to inform you that AMCHAM's Thanksgiving - New Year Luncheon scheduled for 6 Jan 2021 at 12:00pm - 2:00pm at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur is POSTPONED until further notice.

|AMCHAM OFFICE CLOSURE [28 DEC 2020 - 3 JAN 2021]|
With immediate effect, please be informed that the Government has made the decision to reduce the mandatory quarantine period for all inbound expatriates and their dependants, including foreign maids, from fourteen (14) days to TEN (10) days. The Ministry of Health announced that this decision was made based on studies of clinical reports and global best practices, where countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium have also reduced their quarantine period from 14 to 10 days.
The Perikatan Nasional government aims to rebrand Malaysia as among the 'Top of The Mind Ecotourism Destination of the World' on the heels of its National Tourism Policy 2020 – 2030 (DPN 2020 – 2030). Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said DPN 2020 – 2030 was Malaysia's dynamic and strategic plan to revive the tourism industry of the country which was also not spared by the adverse impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
