| The enhanced movement control order (MCO) for the Amber Court apartments in Genting Highlands has been extended again as the localities are still deemed as “high risk” by the Health Ministry, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The Senior Minister (Security) said the enhanced MCO period for the area, which was supposed to end on Jan 6, will be continued until Jan 20. |

| Despite the emergence of new COVID-19 clusters after interstate and inter-district travel was permitted, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today said that there are no plans to reintroduce travel restrictions.
The senior defence minister said that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is still analysing the situation. |
