| The Movement Control Order placed on Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang will be switched to Conditional MCO, announces Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. He said this will take effect for 14 days beginning March 5. He said Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Sabah, Putrajaya, Labuan and Perlis will be under recovery MCO. Kedah, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Sarawak and Perak remains under conditional MCO. |

| The National Security Council (NSC) has released the latest standard operating procedures (SOP) for the tourism sector in states under the movement control order (MCO) specifically for the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) sector. The new SOPs are applicable to events including travel fairs, trade fairs, travel marts, travel bazaars, and culture and arts carnivals. |

| The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) said it had RM65.9 billion worth of potential investments being actively evaluated as at December 2020. Once approved, these projects are expected to be implemented in 2021 to 2022, it said in a statement today. MIDA has also identified 240 high-profile foreign investment projects, which include Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing and services sectors, with a combined potential investment value of RM81.9 billion. |
