Private hospitals in the country will be involved in Phase Two and Phase Three of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme to serve as vaccination centres said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba. He said the Ministry of Health has agreed to engage private hospitals in the immunisation programme based on the principle of vaccine equity where the government would provide free COVID-19 vaccines for all.

Senior citizens aged 60 and above will be given the Sinovac vaccine in phase two of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, Bernama quoted Khairy Jamaluddin as saying. The programme's coordinating minister also said that so far, 583,903 individuals had received a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine while 395,891 others had received the full two doses.
