AMCHAM's 44th Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 15 June, virtually. As a voting member of the Chamber, you are invited to attend and participate.
While we have always attempted to hold these in-person, with the current situation with COVID-19 we are currently registering for an online/virtual program. This AGM will be accessible via the Microsoft Teams platform. Please save the date in your calendars and we will keep you apprised of developments. |

| The Malaysian Government has sanctioned for the country’s largest international exhibition venue, the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) to operate as a vaccination centre starting from 31 May 2021. With the urgent need to combat COVID-19 and the functionality of convention centres being converted to vaccination centres, MITEC will be the latest to be endorsed by the Government to participate in this service to the Nation. |

| Malaysians will be able to purchase the RTK-Antigen test kit from their local pharmacists or medical centres, and conduct COVID-19 home tests very soon. The government is mulling providing these test kits to the masses and allow the public to administer the test using their saliva. |

| On 5th May 2021, the Senior Minister of Defence issued a press statement on involving exit and entry procedures applied onto countries Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal during the MCO period.
A number of updates have been made since then including the flight restrictions and exemptions for certain groups of travelers. |

AMCHAM will be having a Corporate Citizenship Committee Meeting on the 24th of May, 2021.
This meeting serves as the main platform through which members in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) space gather to share and update each other on CSR related news and to roll out AMCHAM's CSR agenda for the year.
AMCHAM strongly recommends its members to participate in the CCC meetings, especially the CSR leads, Managers or Head of the CSR departments to stay updated to what's happening in the area.
