Urgent Need for Hospital Equipment
Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.

Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.

With the implementation of the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO 3.0) effective from 1 June to 14 June 2021, a new set of SOPs have been released for General FMCO SOPs and for Manufacturing Sector.

Notable updates include the list of essential sectors, movement restrictions, workforce capacity, business and services operation hours, and the activities prohibited.

MDEC: Application for MCO exemption can be made through CIMS 3.0
Application from the ICT and eCommerce sectors to be exempted from the Movement Control Order (MCO) can be made through the COVID-19 Intelligent Management System (CIMS) 3.0. In a statement today, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) said companies that have applied and received approvals for their applications through CIMS 2.0 do not need to re-apply, and could download and print approval letters for operation from 8pm on Monday, May 31.

MITI: Just over 95,000 companies approved to operate in ‘total lockdown’
Some 95,142 companies have obtained approval to operate during this latest movement control order (MCO) as of this afternoon, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) revealed today.

An estimated 1.2 million workers from these approved companies are expected to be working at their respective premises under the latest standard operating procedures.
