During this period of Full Movement Control Order (FMCO 3.0) extended to June 28, 2021, AMCHAM will be bringing you daily updates on the latest COVID-19 developments, which includes Government-issued orders, regulations, and SOPs as well as initiatives from related bodies and organizations. |

| To alleviate the situation for logistics players and to clear capacity at the ports and airports, exporters and importers are allowed to perform loading/unloading of non-essential goods from 8:00am to 8:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting on Friday, 18 June 2021.
Operations for essential goods that have been granted MITI's letter are not subject to this arrangement. |

| As of 16 June 2021, more than 1,733 companies with a total of 280,820 employees have registered with the COVID-19 Public-Private Partnership Industry Immunization Program (PIKAS), of which 186 companies and a total of 139,851 employees are from industry players in Penang. |

| The Works Ministry through the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has offered COVID-19 vaccines to 40,000 construction workers. This programme would expedite the vaccination rate among economic frontliners. Under the programme, private sectors will need to prepare their own teams, certified medical personnel and vaccination centres (PPV) while the supply and delivery of the vaccines will be provided free by the government. |

| The mega COVID-19 vaccination centre (PPV) at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) is expected to deliver some 10,000 doses daily soon, as part of the government's efforts to ramp up the National Immunisation Programme (NIP). Its current daily capacity stood at about 5,000 vaccine doses since its opening on Monday. The average daily doses administered is expected to pick up within 21 days. |

| The Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Conference of Rulers have said on 16 June, that there is no need for the ongoing State of Emergency to be extended past its original end date of August 1, 2021.
Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad said in a statement that this was one of seven recommendations which resulted from the special Conference of Rulers meeting at Istana Negara earlier today. |
