| Following the announcement of the National Recovery Plan, the SOPs for Phase 1 have been released and will take effect starting 29 June 2021. The updated SOPs include movement control for unloading of essential and non-essential goods, business and services open hours, and more. |

| THE International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) is urging more industry players, especially manufacturers, to conduct mass testingfor their workers to accelerate the reopening of other sectors, considering the major problem now is there are many asymptomatic cases. Large-scale mass testing programmes need to be done to detect whether workers are healthy, in addition to increasing vaccination programmes to mitigate the issue effectively. |

| The Armed Forces is setting up four more field hospitals with 200 beds and 130 medical personnel to treat COVID-19 patients.
Each of the four new field hospitals to be set up can accommodate 50 beds. Their locations will be decided later on. |

| Government service counters, which have not been physically opened during Phase One of Movement Control under the National Recovery Plan (PPN), will resume operations nationwide beginning July 1 (Thursday) with certain operational procedures. The opening will involve services that cannot be carried out online with not more than 50% of counter staff capacity, and is available only on appointment. |

| Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.
Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.
