Key points in a message should always be communicated effectively. Sometimes these points end up getting get lost due to the structure or lack of understanding the recipient. Today, AMCHAM held its 5th session of the GATE Program, this time a workshop on Key Message Development.

The government anticipated that most states will move into Phase Four or the final phase of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) by October at the earliest. In his briefing on the NRP at the special sitting of the Dewan Rakyat today, the Prime Minister said the anticipation was based on the continuous efforts to implement the recovery process and the immunisation programme that is currently running smoothly.

Malaysia is one of the fastest countries to vaccinate its people against COVID-19 with the vaccine injection capacity having reached more than 500,000 doses a day at present. The government would ensure that the vaccination process is carried out in an orderly manner, fast and covering all parts of the country under the National Recovery Plan (PPN).

As of yesterday, 5,519,845 recipients or 16.9 per cent of the population had completed both doses of the vaccination. Some 36.1 per cent, or 11,797,708 recipients had received the first dose. 399,135 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, with 281,481 of them to the first dose recipients, and 117,654 for second dose recipients.

Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.

Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.
