MySejahtera Travel Kit
MySejahtera Traveler is a module (built into the MySejahtera mobile application) specially for travelers (Malaysians and Non-Malaysians) returning to or visiting Malaysia. It is based on the SOP developed by the Malaysian government to ensure the COVID-19 pandemic is under control upon gradual opening of Malaysian international borders. This guide was last updated in July 2020.

Common PPV in Educity now open
Common PPV in Educity now open
The Common Vaccination Center (PPV) at Educity is officially open! It is an initiative led by multiple AMCHAM member companies in Johor, namely Samtec, Flextronics, Celestica, Heraeus, Celestica, Hershey's, HID and HP. A total of 44 companies are slated to go through this centre.

Great work by the AMCHAM Johor Network and to all the supporting bodies.

Flex Malaysia PIKAS Vaccination Center
The Flex PIKAS Vaccination Center opened its doors to the first batch of vaccine recipients at its H1 facility in Bukit Minyak, Penang. As one of the designated industrial vaccination centers under the Public-Private Partnership COVID-19 Industry Immunization Program (PIKAS), the facility expects to welcome about 13,500 employees from Flex and 90 other factories around its vicinity for the vaccination program.

Walk-in vaccination: 3,600 doses set aside at KLCC vaccination centre today (Aug 2)
A total of 3,600 doses have been allocated for the first day of walk-in vaccinations at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre vaccination centre for Monday (Aug 2). It is learnt, however, that the number of doses might be increased depending on the number of people that turn up, as the maximum daily capacity is 8,000 doses.

States can announce and carry out their own COVID-19 walk-in vaccination programmes for senior citizens.

The states have been given the authority to decide and no longer have to wait for permission from the federal COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF).

Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.

Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.
