| Inbound Malaysians and expatriates must currently undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine at a Quarantine Station (Government-gazetted hotels or other premises). For those traveling from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, or Pakistan, the quarantine period is 21 days. The policy for the entry and quarantine process of those arriving from abroad has been issued by the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA). |

| The Transport Ministry has obtained approval from the COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) to open additional industry vaccination centres (PPVIN). Currently, there are six PPVIN operating throughout the country to support the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme. |

| Malaysia has fully vaccinated over 30% of its adult population against COVID-19. This after 468,526 doses were administered on Monday (Aug 2) alone, with 223,479 people getting their first dose while 245,047 people received their second dose. This brought the total number of vaccine doses administered to 21,668,999. |
