| The government is prepared to re-examine the new criteria imposed on the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme. However, at the moment, there is no indication of when Ministry officials would meet to review the conditions. The present conditions require participants to be in the country for at least 90 cumulative days in a year and have an offshore income of at least RM40,000 a month, compared to RM10,000 previously. |

| Travellers entering Malaysia through Johor checkpoints are required to send in their application to be quarantined at home at least seven days in advance. The application can be made through cprcjknj@moh.gov.my.
Travellers would need to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test at least three days before departure. |

| A total of 15,032,301 individuals or 64.2 per cent of the country’s adult population have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of yesterday, 31 August. 19,741,754 individuals or 84.3 per cent had received their first dose, bringing the cumulative figure for vaccines administered under the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) to 34,752,340 doses as of yesterday. |

| Bantuan Khas COVID-19 (BKC) cash aid will be disbursed from Sept 6, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. A total allocation of RM3.1 billion has been channelled to banking institutes today (Sept 1). Hardcore poor households will receive RM1,300 cash aid, with RM500 payment in two instalments and RM300 to be paid on the third month. |
