AMCHAM participated in the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) E-Invoicing Discussion today, 15 Feb 2024. We got to engage directly with Dr. Rasyidah Binti Che Rosli and her team from the IRB. The discussion was held as a hybrid of in-person and virtual with over 50 AMCHAM members dialing in. We were able to discuss and address our members’ concerns regarding the impending implementation of e-Invoicing, which is a significant shift for businesses.

Reporting directly to the AMCHAM CEO/Executive Director, this role is responsible for the following tasks:

The Administrative Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and the Business Development Manager, while working closely with AMCHAM’s executive leadership, colleagues, members, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Chamber.

The Events Executive is part of the events team and reports to the Events Manager while working closely with AMCHAM’s executive leadership, colleagues, members, and other stakeholders to enhance the Chamber’s events portfolio and activities.

With reference to the announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Sales and Service Tax (SST) rate will increase from 6% to 8% effective 1 March 2024, which applies to the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) Application fee for all types of passes.
