AMCHAM Announces New Members to the Board of Governors 2021/23

AMCHAM held its 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually today and we are pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the Board of Governors and five returning board members.

Two members will join the Board for the first time to serve a two-year term are:

1. Soon K Kuek, General Manager, Lam Manufacturing Malaysia & Sr Director of Manufacturing
2. Usman Ahmed, CEO of Citibank

And for a one year term:

1. Dave Mitchell, VP and GM, Manufacturing and Distribution, Boston Scientific

Five returning Board of Governors are:

1. Datuk Timothy Garland, Director & CEO, START/TBWA KL
2. Chin Keat Chyuan, MD, Johnson & Johnson Sdn Bhd
3. Steve Clayton, CEO, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank Bhd
4. Dato’ P’ng Soo Hong, MD, First Solar Malaysia, Sdn Bhd
5. Antony Lee, CEO, AIG Malaysia Insurance Bhd

These Governors will serve on the AMCHAM Board for a two-year term, until 2023.

The following Governors will serve the remaining time of their two-year term:

1. Anushia Soosaipillai, PwC, Partner
2. Robin Martin, MD, Malaysian Site, Intel Corporation
3. Naeem Shahab Khan, MD Philip Morris Malaysia
