Will 2022 be a Watershed Year for Trade in Asia-Pacific?

AMCHAM held a special briefing today on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), two defining elements that will reconfigure trade in Asia Pacific.

Dr. Deborah Elms, Founder and Executive Director of the Asian Trade Centre (ATC) delivered a brief presentation with an overview of RCEP and CPTPP, the implications as well as what can be expected in the coming months. Dr Elms was joined by Tami Overby, Sr. Director, McLarty Associates, who further elaborated on the impact of RCEP and CPTPP on economies in the Asia Pacific region and on how member companies in regional AmCham’s can prepare for it.

Special thanks to both guest speakers and to the AmChams of Asia Pacific (AAP) for supporting this event.
