    Executive Director, Global Employer Services (GES) National Practice Leader of Deloitte Malaysia

    Ang Weina is an Executive Director of Deloitte Malaysia’s tax practice. She leads the Global Employer Services (GES) Division and has more than 30 years of experience with Deloitte in Singapore, Japan and Malaysia dealing with employment taxes, mobility policies, immigration compliance, equity compensation, remuneration planning and employer’s regulatory compliance.
    Weina is known to clients as an advisor who makes technically complexed issues easy to understand and is a subject matter expert to offer practical solutions. She is respected by the regulatory authorities in tax and immigration in the areas of GES and has successfully led to resolutions on clients’ issues. She is a licensed tax agent (by the Ministry of Finance) and is also accredited as Women Leader in Tax by the International Tax Review.

    Weina is Deloitte Southeast Asia (SEA) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader. Under Weina's leadership, Deloitte Malaysia received recognition from the prestigious UN Women's WEPs Award for Gender Inclusive Workplace in 2020 at the national and regional level and Deloitte SEA followed with a nod for Partnership and Community Engagement in 2021 for our outreach efforts to improve the lives of women and girls in our community.

    Weina graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She is a CA (Singapore), CA (MIA), CPA (Australia), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. She is also an HRDF approved trainer.

    She serves clients which are mainly multi-national companies primarily involved in manufacturing, education, IT, healthcare and food & beverage.

    Shareena is an ACCA qualified professional accountant and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She is also registered with Companies Commission of Malaysia as a Company Secretary

    Rubini is a Partner in the litigation practice
    of the firm, with a focus on employmentrelated disputes as well as contruction.

    She continues to represent local and international organisations at all levels of the Malaysian Courts including the Industrial Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court.

    In her Employment and Industrial Disputes practice, Rubini is regularly called upon to represent and advice local and international SMEs and MNCs in matters of unfair/wrongful
    termination, constructive dismissal, employee poor performances and misconduct, large-scale retrenchment or redundancy exercises, and settlement of disputes between employers & employees. She also advises companies on trade union activities and reviews collective bargaining agreements. Her expertise extends
    to advising on employment contracts and benefits, as well as advice on employee handbooks and HR policies. In her Construction & Projects Disputes practice, she works closely with the Firm’s Projects & Construction team, constantly representing and
    advising a wide range of local and international construction industry players ranging from project owners and developers to contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants. Her practice
    includes advising clients on their rights and obligations under their construction contracts, compliance and regulatory issues, issues with tenders, contract termination, construction
    delays and payments, as well as project management.

    Rubini also handles arbitration matters involving construction disputes and is an accredited adjudicator with the Asian International Arbitration Centre since 2018. She is currently
    empanelled as a mediator with the Malaysian Mediation Centre.

    Keat Meng is the Global Employer Services Immigration Director based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has more than 20 years of experience in expatriate talent management service, immigration advisory services and strategic business relationship development in the government, commercial, and education sector​

    Prior to him joining Deloitte, Keat Meng held positions as Head of Unit in the Malaysia Expatriate Talent Service Centre with a government agency and was Head of Visa Support as well as Head of Customer Experience with an international education group.

    He is well versed in Malaysian immigration matters and liaising with the relevant government bodies.

    Keat Meng graduated from Taylor’s University Malaysia and also holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from University of Toulouse Le Mirail, France.
