  • Bill Hurder (Managing Director – Asia Pacific of RoviSys)

    Bill Hurder

Managing Director – Asia Pacific of RoviSys

Bill joined RoviSys shortly after graduating from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, eager for a challenging career in the automation industry and looking for opportunities to experience new cultures. Before long, Bill was in Taiwan for his first (of many) control system start-ups with a customer expanding their production capacity throughout Asia.
Splitting his time between Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, continued for three more years, Bill realized that a more permanent position in Asia was vital to grow and support RoviSys operations. Moving across the world presents many challenges, but the chance to work with colleagues and business partners throughout the Asia Pacific region while gaining exposure to internal and international operations was an exceptional opportunity.
Since 2012 Bill have overseen continuous growth as RoviSys Asia expands their footprint throughout the Asia-Pacific region from their initial office in Singapore to now having additional operations in Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan. Bill’s role as Managing Director-Asia Pacific is exactly what he was searching for and he has learned that no matter the location, language, cuisine or climate, a corporate culture with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and high quality results is something that is appreciated universally.
