The COVID-19 pandemic has not only impacted people's health and safety. Its implications are also being felt across businesses and our economy, as necessary measures had to be put in place to flatten the curve. As Malaysia begins to gradually ease restrictions under the Recovery phase of the Movement Control Order (RMCO), it is time for strategic action to be taken, for new measures to be introduced to 'Restart Malaysia' and get the country back up on its feet.

The road to recovery will require close collaboration between the government and business community. Through this webinar series, we hope to provide a platform to facilitate key dialogues on the priorities that require immediate attention in our fight to rebuild lives, jobs, and businesses.

In our upcoming webinar, we'll be discussing PENJANA and what it means for you and your business. To attend the complimentary session, just fill up the registration form. Spots are limited so register soon before they're all taken up. You will be provided the relevant link upon registration.

The $10 trillion rescue: How governments can deliver impact
The COVID-19 crisis is one of the worst health emergencies the world has witnessed for a century, and its economic impact could be just as steep. While it took several quarters for unemployment to peak in other crises, the economic shock of the COVID-19 crisis has been larger than that of any previous crisis—and it materialized within weeks. Five weeks into the crisis, the weekly number of jobs lost in the United States continues to exceed any pre-COVID-19 record. In some sectors, demand came practically to a halt in a matter of days as a result of lockdown measures.
