Entry Permission for Expatriates AND Permission to Exit and Return to Malaysia (Updated)
The Expatriate Services Division has updated its website following the announcement made by the Malaysian Government for changes and updates on the guidelines for expats and its related passes, effective from 24 July 2020, in relation to:

A. Entry permission for expatriates with an active pass and approved pass application who are abroad;
B. Exit Malaysia and return permission with an active pass who are in Malaysia.

Malaysia-Singapore cross-border travel kicks off 17 August 2020
The cross border travel between Malaysia and Singapore is expected to start on 17 August 2020. This was after both countries agreed and finalised the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the implementation of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) travel schemes. Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said Malaysians who are eligible for the two schemes can submit their applications to the Immigration Department beginning Aug 10.
