| 4 districts in Sabah will be placed under the Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (TEMCO) for two weeks starting September 29. Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the move is necessary as the 4 districts have recorded more than 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 over the past 27 days. |

| The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) would like to urge all companies in Malaysia that have registered their details on COVID-19 Intelligent Management System (CIMS) 3.0 to encourage their list of suppliers to follow suit and get themselves registered on the system as soon as possible.

| In August 2020, Malaysia’s trade surplus registered a double digit growth of 19.7% to RM13.23 billion compared to August 2019, exceeding RM10 billion for the seventh time in year 2020. Exports of manufactured goods in accounted for or 86.6% of total exports. E&E products, constituted 40.3% of total exports. Trade with the US in August 2020 grew to RM15.63 billion, representing 10.8% of Malaysia’s total trade. |
