| In Reference to the statement issued by The Center for Market Education (CME), the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) wishes to clarify on the arising concerns in relation to the employment and re-employment of foreign workers and expatriates. The reason for the mandatory condition to announce a vacancy on the, MYFutureJobs, for a period of at least 30 days stems from the Government mandate to facilitate the recruitment of local talent and to ensure local job seekers are given priority for any job opportunity. |

| The Johor Baru district has been declared a red zone after the number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 40 in the span of 14 days. Johor health and environment committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said monitoring and surveillance efforts would be boosted because of an expected increase in the number of cases in the near future. |
