Travel Advisory (State) and Travel Health Notice (CDC) – January 6, 2021
It has come to our attention that our members have been concerned about the U.S. Embassy Travel Advisory. Please be advised that the Advisory has been in place since August 2020 and, to date, no change has been made.

However, more recently, the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated their COVID-19 Travel Health Notices, which may have caused some confusion.

World Bank cuts 2021 global forecast to 4.0 pct, could erode if COVID worsens
The World Bank on Tuesday downgraded its outlook for the global economy, and warned the situation could deteriorate if COVID-19 infections accelerate or the vaccine rollout is delayed. The coronavirus pandemic also has worsened the risks surrounding the rising debt load in developing nations, and it will take a global effort to avoid a new crisis in those economies, the bank cautioned.

Sunway has reached out to more than 200,000 lives in Malaysia when the outbreak affected the majority in the country last year. Sunway centred the efforts on three key pillars: education, healthcare, and community enrichment.
