The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaludin said the government has no problem with state governments wanting to purchase their own COVID-19 vaccines. "Anyone can apply to the ministry to purchase the vaccine but the issue right now is the lack of supply and access, not the intention to purchase it.

Individuals who get an appointment for COVID-19 vaccine injection at private hospitals or clinics involved in the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme will not have to pay any charges, said National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. The charges are borne by the government.

The results of a recent survey, which showed that more women are in senior leadership positions in business, has been lauded by the corporate sector. The annual Women in Business Report, by global professional services network Grant Thornton, showed that 37% of senior corporate leadership positions are now held by women, up from 31% last year.
