| Malaysia will proceed with the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine for the COVID-19 National Immunisation Programme, confirms the Health Ministry. Health minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said this was decided at the Special Committee on COVID-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV) meeting on Tuesday (April 6). |

| The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has released an updated version of its COVID-19 “Guidelines to Enter Sarawak” for all travellers today. All non-Sarawakians and non-Malaysians who have been in the country for more than 15 days are required to request approval to enter Sarawak via West Malaysia by filling in EnterSarawak and E-Health Declaration Form (E-HDF). |

| The Association of Private Hospital Malaysia is looking forward to work with the Ministry of Health on the registration of public and private patients in private hospitals for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme. APHM president Dr Kuljit Singh said it is currently in communication with the Special Committee on Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee to have the finer details sorted out and proposed to start almost immediately. |

| The government has agreed to provide certain relaxation of conditions to manufacturing and services companies that have been approved with incentives under the purview of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). MIDA said this is part of the proactive measures undertaken by the government to continue Malaysia’s economic revitalisation efforts by facilitating investment and restoring investors’ confidence. |
