During this period of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), AMCHAM will be bringing you daily updates on the latest COVID-19 developments, which includes the efforts of the Government and initiatives from other bodies and organizations. |

| The National Security Council (NSC) has extended the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang, Kelantan and Sarawak. The Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) will continue in the remaining states and territories. The extensions come into effect on April 15 to April 28, except for Sarawak which comes into effect on April 13 to April 26. |

| Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has assured the public that Malaysia will have enough COVID-19 vaccines to cover 80 per cent of the population by October. He also shared a graph from the Special Committee on Ensuring Access to COVID-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) showing the scheduled delivery of the vaccines compared to the total number of registrations so far. |

| The Immigration Department confirmed that all foreigners with expired social visit passes would need to leave the country before or on April 21. Referring to news reports about the matter, Immigration director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said enforcement action would be taken against those who failed to do so. |
