| Coordinating Minister for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme Khairy Jamaluddin announced that family members may travel interstate for the purpose of bringing a person dependent on them to a vaccination appointment. The National Security Council decided this after a meeting yesterday, adding that only one family member may accompany the dependent. |

| The Ministry of Health (MoH) has proposed that interstate travel for the upcoming Aidilfitri celebrations be postponed as the COVID-19 situation in the country is still worrying. Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said the proposal was also following complaints and appeals from various quarters for the government to postpone the lifting of the interstate travel ban. |
