| Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.
Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.

| The Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has released a list of agencies and ministries and the corresponding sectors under them.
Companies falling under these ministries/agencies can apply for approval on the CIMS 3.0 platform and are allowed to operate. |

| MITI has released an updated set of FAQs for the Full Movement Control Order (FMCO 3.0) in effect from 1 June to 14 June, 2021.
This FAQ is applicable to the Economic Sector covered by the listed Ministries in the document and covers questions pertaining to operations during FMCO 3.0, the Work From Home Order, registration on CIMS, the list of essential services allowed to operate during this period, and a sample work permission letter for employees. |

| A total of 1,104,873 individuals in Malaysia have completed the two-dose COVID-19 vaccination as of June 1, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.
Dr Adham in a Twitter posting today said 2,002,345 individuals had received the first dose, bringing the the number of doses administered to 3,107,218 as of yesterday, 1 June, 2021. |

| The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday it has approved a COVID-19 vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech for emergency use listing, paving the way for a second Chinese shot to be used in poor countries. A WHO emergency listing is a signal to national regulators of a product’s safety and efficacy and will allow the Sinovac shot to be included in COVAX, the global programme providing vaccines mainly for poor countries, which faces major supply problems due to curbs on Indian exports. |

| Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) today reiterated that all loan borrowers who have suffered a drop in income, including salary, allowances, commissions and household incomes, are eligible for a reduction of monthly instalments according to the reduced income.
In a series of tweets detailing the eligibility for reduction of monthly instalments, the central bank clarified that under the latest loan repayment assistance. |
