Hospital Ampang has close to 150 COVID patients now in, and for the past few weeks the hospital has been expanding the wards in terms of manpower, equipment, and proper isolation spaces.

Both patients and clinicians need equipments urgently to be able to do their work.

The decision to streamline the issuance of operating permits to companies under the COVID Integrated Management System (CIMS) for the “total lockdown” came from the National Security Council (NSC). The ministries would still need to determine and verify which businesses are deemed essential. The CIMS, now in its third iteration, will only issue the permit once the verification by the respective ministry is done.
